Club Rides
Our club rides take place throughout the week, starting from the Sherston Village Hall car park.
Saturdays
The club run starts at 8:15am and is around 80km (50 miles).
We ride in ability groups, at a speed everyone can manage. Our quicker group normally averages 16-18mph (25-30km/h), but we always adjust speed for the conditions and to make sure everyone can finish.
The ride normally ends at one of the cafés in the village.
Sundays
Our café ride is at 9am on a 50-70km (30-40 miles) route to one of the many fantastic cafés in the area. It's ridden at an easy pace and is a great opportunity to socialise.
There is a ride at 1pm aimed at rider development: it's about 50km (30 miles), ridden at an easy to moderate speed aiming to help riders make the step up to the Saturday club run. It's also a nice way to have a spin around the lovely Cotswolds countryside!
On alternate Sundays we run a development ride of up to 20 miles with a café stop. This ride is at a very easy pace so that beginners, juniors and developing riders can easily take part to build fitness and confidence on the bike - or it's a great way to unwind after a big ride on Saturday!
