Rich Wiles-Teoh does Everest
Starting at 10pm on June 2nd 2017, our own Rich Wiles-Teoh completed his fundraising Everesting Challenge.
He's raised over £2,700 for St Andrews Church in Castle Combe by cycling repeatedly (181 times) up the hill out of Castle Combe for a total ascent of 8876m, 28m more than the height of Everest.

Many members of Sherston Velo and other clubs turned up at various points during the night and day to ride with Rich and provide encouragement, support and even a spare wheel. Many of us were embarrassed by failing to keep up with Rich going up hill, despite the fact that he'd been going for up to 15 hours already.

His JustGiving page will be open for a while if you'd like to contribute to this noble effort.

Everyone at Sherston Velo is very proud of his efforts.
Chapeau, Rich.
